What white label electronics means
A white label product is designed and manufactured by one company and sold by another under its own brand. The manufacturer stays invisible to the end customer. The seller controls branding, pricing, marketing and customer relationships.
In electronics, white labeling is common for sensors and meters, controllers, power supplies, chargers, data loggers, smart home devices and accessories. It allows a brand to offer a complete range without designing every product itself.
Your branding on every touchpoint
We apply your identity wherever your customer sees the product: PCB silkscreen, enclosure printing or labels, front panel overlays, display boot screens, firmware product names, user manuals, datasheets, quick-start cards and retail packaging. Barcodes and serial labels can follow your numbering scheme.
Our name does not appear on your product or packaging, and programmes are covered by NDA.
Who white labeling is for
Distributors and resellers who want higher margins than reselling third-party brands. Industrial system integrators who want consistent, branded instruments across installations. E-commerce and retail brands entering electronics categories. Start-ups who want to validate demand with a real product before investing in custom design. OEMs that need to fill gaps in a product line quickly.
In each case the goal is the same: offer customers a reliable, branded product without the cost and time of designing and tooling it from scratch. White labeling turns an existing, proven product into an asset that carries your brand and builds your reputation.
White label vs private label
The terms are often used interchangeably. Strictly, white label usually means the same base product is offered to several brands, while private label means a product made exclusively for one brand, often with custom specifications. We offer both. Our comparison page explains the trade-offs in cost, exclusivity and time to market.
In practice many programmes sit between the two. A brand might start with a shared base product and then commission exclusive firmware features or an enclosure colour that only it can sell, gradually moving towards a fully private label product as volumes grow.
Typical white label product categories
White label electronics work best for products where the hardware is well proven and the value for the end customer lies in brand, availability, support and integration. Examples include temperature indicators and controllers, panel meters, data loggers, sensor modules, power supplies, chargers, LED drivers, smart switches, IoT gateways and accessories.
If your category is not listed, ask us. Many products can be adapted from existing designs, and new products can be developed through our ODM service and then supplied as a private label line.
Protecting your brand and your customers
Your brand reputation depends on the product performing reliably. Every white label unit is functionally tested before packing, and batch records are kept so issues can be traced. We also provide technical documentation so your support team can answer customer questions confidently.
Confidentiality is part of every programme. We do not disclose your identity as a customer, we do not place our branding on your products, and we do not share your pricing or specifications with others.
Pricing and margins
White label pricing depends on the base product, the level of customisation, packaging and order quantity. Rebrand programmes have the lowest entry cost because there is little engineering work. Customised and private label programmes include a one-time engineering charge and may need tooling for enclosures or packaging.
Because you set the retail price and own the customer relationship, white label products typically offer better margins than reselling third-party brands.
Getting to market
A typical rebrand programme moves from brief to branded samples in a few weeks, depending on packaging and label printing. Customised programmes take longer because firmware or hardware changes need to be validated. We share a timeline with each quotation so you can plan your launch.
Lead times for printed packaging and custom labels are often the longest part of a rebrand programme, so we start artwork early. Once samples are approved, the first production batch is scheduled and repeat orders can be planned against your sales forecast.
Why brands choose Asad Enterprises for white label
We have engineered and manufactured electronics since 2004, so the products behind your brand are built on proven experience. We combine design capability, manufacturing, testing and packaging in one facility, which keeps quality consistent and communication simple.
Brands also value our flexibility. We support modest first orders so you can test a market, then scale as demand grows, and we can customise products further once you know what your customers want.
Getting started
Share your product category, target market, expected volumes and branding needs. We will recommend suitable base products or a customisation path and send samples and pricing.
After the initial discussion we sign an NDA and prepare a short proposal covering the base product, branding scope, sample timeline and indicative pricing at different volumes. You can then decide how to proceed with a clear view of cost and timing.
Quality you can put your name on
Before any product carries your brand, it goes through our standard inspection and testing. You approve branded samples, and production units are built and tested to the same standard as the approved sample.
If an issue ever appears in the field, batch records let us trace affected units quickly and agree corrective action with you. This protects your customers and your brand reputation, and it gives your support team clear answers when questions arise.
Documentation and support materials
We provide technical information for your manuals, datasheets and training material. Your support team can contact our engineers for help with technical questions.
Documentation can be delivered as editable files so your marketing team can apply your templates and style. We review technical accuracy before release so the information your customers read matches the product they receive.
Scaling your white label range
As your brand grows, we can add products to your range, introduce variants and plan production to match your sales forecast.
Many brands start with one or two products and grow into a complete range over time. Because the products share our design and manufacturing processes, quality and documentation stay consistent across the range as it expands.
