Quality

Quality Assurance and Certifications

Quality is built into every stage of our process, from component selection to final test. This page describes how we control quality and the records you receive.

Quality Assurance and Certifications

How we control quality

01

DFM review

Designs checked for manufacturability before builds.

02

Incoming inspection

Components verified on receipt.

03

First article

Initial units inspected and approved.

04

In-process checks

Inspection after each assembly stage.

05

Functional test

Each unit verified to specification.

06

Traceability

Lot, process and test records per batch.

Workmanship standards

Assembly and soldering follow recognised industry workmanship practices. Specific standards can be agreed per project.

Workmanship criteria are documented and used in training and inspection.

Certifications

Details of our current certifications and quality documentation are available on request.

Contact us for current certification details and supporting documents.

Continuous improvement

Defects and customer feedback are reviewed to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.

Improvement actions are tracked to completion and checked for effectiveness.

Corrective and preventive action

When a defect is found, we investigate the root cause, correct the affected units and change the process or design to prevent recurrence. Actions are recorded and reviewed.

Lessons learned are shared across teams to prevent similar issues elsewhere.

Supplier quality

Components are purchased from authorised and approved suppliers. Supplier performance is monitored and issues are addressed with the supplier.

Strong supplier relationships help ensure consistent component quality.

Customer audits

Customers are welcome to audit our processes. Contact us to arrange a visit.

Audits help customers gain confidence in our processes.

Documentation you receive

Depending on the project, documentation can include first article reports, inspection records, test reports, certificates of conformance and batch traceability records.

Documentation requirements are agreed at the start of each project.

ESD protection

Electronic components can be damaged by electrostatic discharge. Our assembly and handling areas use ESD precautions to protect your products.

ESD controls are checked regularly to ensure they remain effective.

Training

Operators and technicians are trained on assembly, soldering, inspection and handling practices, and work instructions are kept up to date.

Ongoing training keeps skills current as technologies change.

Feedback

Customer feedback is reviewed and used to improve processes. Contact us if you have quality requirements we should know about.

Your feedback helps us serve you and other customers better.

Quality across services

The same quality approach applies across design, prototyping, assembly, box build, white label and repair, so every product leaving our facility meets the same standard.

Consistency across services means you can trust every part of your project.

Questions about quality

If you have specific quality requirements or documentation needs, tell us at the quotation stage so we can plan accordingly.

Early discussion allows us to plan inspections and records accordingly.
