Temperature sensors with integrated meters
Our temperature measurement solutions combine sensing elements with signal conditioning and display electronics in a single, ready-to-install product. Options include different probe styles, ranges, display formats, alarm outputs and communication interfaces for connection to PLCs and SCADA systems.
Combining sensor and meter in one product simplifies installation and reduces wiring errors. Calibration can be matched between sensor and electronics for better overall accuracy.
Custom sensor design and integration
When an off-the-shelf sensor does not fit, we design one that does. We select sensing technologies, design front-end electronics for accuracy and noise immunity, and package the result for its environment. Existing sensors can also be integrated into your products with appropriate interfacing and calibration.
Custom sensors are validated against reference instruments under realistic conditions before production, so performance in the field matches expectations.
Measurement and monitoring systems
Beyond individual sensors, we build systems that acquire, display, log and transmit measurements: multi-channel data loggers, panel meters, alarm units and connected monitoring devices that send data to dashboards.
Systems can be configured for local display, alarms or remote reporting, and expanded as your monitoring needs grow.
Signal conditioning and accuracy
Raw sensor signals are small and noisy. Our analog front ends amplify, filter, linearise and digitise them, with calibration routines that keep readings accurate over temperature and time.
Good signal conditioning also improves stability and reduces sensitivity to electrical noise from nearby equipment.
Choosing a temperature sensor
Common temperature sensing technologies include thermocouples, RTDs such as PT100, thermistors and semiconductor sensors. Thermocouples cover wide ranges and high temperatures. RTDs offer accuracy and stability. Thermistors are sensitive and inexpensive over narrower ranges. Semiconductor sensors are easy to interface with digital systems.
We help you choose based on range, accuracy, response time, environment and cost, then design the probe, cabling and electronics to match.
Accuracy, calibration and drift
An instrument is only as good as its accuracy over time. We design front ends with stable references and low-drift components, and implement calibration routines that correct offset and gain. Instruments can be verified against reference standards, and calibration data can be stored in each unit.
Periodic recalibration can be planned for instruments in critical applications to maintain confidence in measurements over time.
Displays, alarms and outputs
Instruments can include LED or LCD displays, configurable alarm thresholds, relay outputs to control equipment, analog outputs such as 4–20 mA and digital interfaces such as Modbus RTU over RS-485. Configuration can be done through front panel buttons or software.
Outputs are isolated and protected where needed to ensure reliable integration with control systems.
Built for harsh environments
Industrial and defence instruments face heat, moisture, dust and vibration. We select suitable enclosures and connectors, apply conformal coating where needed and design protection against electrical transients.
Environmental testing can be carried out on samples to confirm performance under expected conditions.
Applications
Furnaces and ovens, cold storage and refrigeration, HVAC, process plants, laboratories, food processing, pharmaceutical storage and defence systems all rely on accurate temperature and process measurement.
Each application has its own range, accuracy and response requirements. We help select or design instruments that match them.
Custom instruments for OEMs
Machine builders can embed our sensors and instruments in their equipment, with custom ranges, outputs and branding.
Embedding a purpose-built instrument can reduce cost and space compared with fitting a general-purpose unit.
White label instruments
Distributors and integrators can supply our instruments under their own brand.
White label instruments carry your branding on the front panel, labels and packaging, with documentation in your name.
Getting started
Tell us what you need to measure, the range and accuracy required, the environment and the outputs you need.
Sharing photos or drawings of the installation location helps us recommend the right sensor and enclosure.
Probe design
Probe construction affects response time, durability and accuracy. Options include sheath material and diameter, length, mounting fittings, cable type and connector.
Probe designs are tested for response time and accuracy so you know how they will perform in your process.
Installation guidance
Correct installation is essential for accurate readings. We provide guidance on mounting, cable routing and avoiding interference.
Clear guidance reduces commissioning time and support calls, and helps ensure measurements are reliable from day one.
Product variants
Instruments can be supplied in variants with different ranges, outputs, supply voltages and enclosures to suit your applications.
Offering variants from a common platform keeps stock manageable while meeting different customer requirements.
